Deliciously moist chocolatey brownie that is a great sweet snack or dessert with cream, ice-cream or chocolate sauce.



250g Strong White Flour

450g Granulated Sugar

250g Unsalted Butter

1 Heaped teaspoon bakingh powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

4 Large Eggs lightly whisked


Pre-heat an electric fan oven to 150 degrees.

Line a thin 30cm rectangular baking tin with grease proof paper.

Sieve the strong white flour into a large mixing bowl. Add the granulated sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix together and create a well in the middle.

Whisk the eggs lightly and add to the mixture.

Melt the chocolate and butter together over a pan of gently simmering water. Stir together and add to the rest of the mixture.

Stir together and pour into the baking tray while still warm.

Place in the oven and cook for 25mins - 35mins. Check by shaking slightly - it should not wobble too much. Leave to cool before cutting and serving.
